Recall a time when you felt the most happy, and invite Jesus to reflect with you. What do you remember? How did you feel then, as compared to how you feel now, re-visiting that time?

  1. Tiny, chubby fingers of one hand stroking the back of my hair, whilst the ones on the other hand run along the edge of my neckline. Eyes, full of wonderment, yet at the same time, filled with curious searching, stare at passersby responding to names being called and collecting their personalized cups of coffee. Chunky little legs, wrapped tightly around my waist, secure in the hold I so naturally have on this little boy’s whole being. As I put him down, giving my shoulders a rest, he lingers between my calves, still wary, yet searching, of all the others around us. His arms now cradle an ankle and a knee, as he plants his insecurity in a grasp that disables any movement from me, his steadfast.

One of the absolute most happy times I can ever remember – when my baby boys were in my arms, on my hip or gazing at the world around them from under foot.
